Dr. Cross, optometrist in Boulder, CO, graduated from Michigan College of Optometry, Ferris State University in 1989. He founded Boulder Vision Associates in 1993. He is a member of both the American and Colorado Optometric Associations. Dr. Cross co-manages laser refractive surgical correction (LASIK and PRK). He fits contacts for patients with bifocals, keratoconus, dry eyes, and astigmatism.
Dr. Cross was involved in the Amrion Age Related Macular Degeneration Research Study and Contact Lens Ocular Complications Study (C.L.O.C.S.). He has served in the past as a proctor for the Colorado State Board of Examiners, and participated in Psychology Research at Ferris State University. He has served on the Gunbarrel Public Improvement District, the SCFD/Boulder County Citizens Cultural Advisory Committee, and the Board of Trustee's for The Boulder Community Foundation. Currently, he is working with the University of Michigan’s 3rd Century Initiative Project to help improve health care in developing countries.
Dr. Cross has been recognized for his work with providing eye care to the underserved in Jamaica and in Boulder. He has received the United Nations Association Human Rights Award, the BCBR Health Care Heroes Award, the e-Town “e-Chievement” Award, the Kiwanis International Foundation Godfrey G. Dyer Award, and the Boulder County Multicultural Award for Health.
Dr. Cross is the founder and President of the Eye Health Institute; a non-profit dedicated to providing vision services to the poor of Jamaica. You can read more about this worthy organization at www.eyehealthinstitute.org.

Dr. Angela Haas is a second generation optometrist from Simpsonville, SC. She graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina where she received her B.S. in Biological Sciences and was a member of the USC Gamecock Marching Band. Soon after, she attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Haas is an active member of SVOSH (Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity) and has seen over 4,000 patients on mission trips to Jamaica, Honduras, Mexico, and Colombia. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, being outside, soaking up the Colorado sunshine, learning how to ski, and exploring Colorado’s many cute mountain towns.
